How do you photograph weddings?
I love working alongside you the days leading up to the wedding day. We will work together to create a detailed schedule of your day, organized down to the minute. On your wedding day, I want to capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. Along with the candid moments we also will photograph the traditional, posed portraits of the couple, wedding party and family. That way you have both to look back on.
When will we get our film/photos?
Film - You will recieve an online link to your film within a few months of your wedding (this could change depending on the season I capture your day). With this link you are able to watch and share with family and friends.
Photo - The first few days after your wedding we will send you a sneak peak photo for you to see and share. Within a maximum of 3 weeks (this could change depending on the season I capture your day) you will receive an online link to a gallery that includes all of the photos from your day.
Will you help with the planning process?
100% Yes! That's the most overwhelming part and that's why we are here to help. Once you book your wedding with us, I send over some tips and suggestions to get you started.
A few months before your wedding we sit down and plan out your day minute by minute. This is important so that we get all the shots you want and so I know exactly when and where I need to be.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in the Metro Detroit area and yes we love to travel! If you want us to photograph your big day or event it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. If you are within 60 miles of the metro Detroit area, there will be no travel cost. If your location is outside 60 miles, it will cost $0.55 per mile traveled. If the location of your venue is more than a 2 hour drive, a place to stay the night of your wedding is required.
What is a bride and groom highlight?
A bride and groom highlight is something we like to include in all of our films or photos. This is time set aside right after the ceremony for just the 2 of you. This gives you a chance to take in the moment and spend a little time together. During this short time (we usually set aside 20-30 minutes), we get video or photos of the 2 of you together, interacting, posing, or anything else you hoped to have. This adds an extra element to the films and of course the photographs of the new husband and wife!
